I saw a tv program that explored the question as to whether, or not, art could be made by somebody who did not refer to themself as an artist. Currently, I am a General Assistant for a Supermarket chain. Does that mean I am not able to produce appreciative images ? At what point does a person evolve into something more, do they need to have completed a relevent training course, be awarded an official certificate of qualification ? I am not a photographer, I stack cartons of juice onto shelves and ensure there is enough milk available. But I also just happen to have an expensive camera.
